The fourth quarter of 2024 has begun and the end of the year is in sight. This means it's time to mobilize my strength and plan the next three months so that I end 2024 on a positive note. There are still plenty of things I have planned for the rest of the year - be it professional, personal or health-related.
My to-want list is my contribution to the Blogtoberfest from Judith Peters. Unlike a to-do list, which is more associated with pressure and compulsion, I hope that this list of my wishes will give me a boost of energy and motivation for the final spurt of 2024.
From magical excursion destinations in the region to important blog projects and private plans, there are 33 things that I still want to experience, do or achieve this year.
Places I want to Visit by 31.12.2024
- The Pumpkin exhibition at the Blühenden Barock in Ludwigsburg 🎃
- The Esslinger Medieval and Christmas market 🎄
- The Royal winter magic at Hohenzollern Castle 🏰
- The Christmas market at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Maulbronn Monastery 🕍
- I travel with the Deutschland-Ticket finally after Karlsruhe 🚉
My Professional Goals for the 4th Quarter of 2024
- Create a freebie (probably about road trips in Germany 🚙)
- Complete my 2023 tax return 🧾
- Revise my homepage and About Me page 🖥️
- I'll write at least 5 new articles about travel destinations in Germany ✍️
- I'll revise 3 existing blog articles 📝

- I'll plan daily Pinterest pins for one month at a time 📌
- I'll develop an e-book (probably about the most beautiful regions in Germany) 📖
Health, Sports, and Wellness Goals until December 31
- I'll work out twice per week 💪
- With my Stuttgart Adventure Card I'll visit the mineral thermal baths in Böblingen and Paracelsus-Therme in Bad Liebenzell ⛲️
- I will lose another 3 kg by 31.12.2024 ⚖️
- My knee and ankle joints will be pain-free without ibuprofen 🙌
- I'll go to bed at 0:30 every day at the latest and sleep at least 6.5 hours a night 😴
- I'll go out into the fresh air at least every other day (walk, stroll through town, visit the market ...) 🌳🚶♀️
Moving Preparations
- I'll support my father with his move to a retirement home 🏡
- I'll clear out (cellar, closet, books, folders) to prepare for my own move to my father's previous apartment and not have to lug any ballast with me 📦
- The new tiles will be laid in my future apartment 🛠️
- The walls in my new apartment will be freshly painted by the end of the year 🪜🎨
- I'm ordering the sofa bed for the guest room so that my daughter and my friends can be comfortable when they visit me 🛋️
- The date for my move will be set before the end of the year 📅
Time with friends and family
- I'm going on a fall day trip with my sister and my dad - maybe to Lichtenstein Castle 🍁🏰
- I'll meet up with at least 5 friends 👯♀️

Would you like to help me achieve my To Wants? 🤩 Then send me an e-mail to .
Hello Angelika,
A great list. I also have points 11, 14 and 30 on the plan 🙂 I actually wanted to take care of Pinterest and I could also use more fresh air. Thanks for reminding me 😀
I wish you every success in achieving your goals.
Love,
Steffi
Well, you've got a lot planned 😀
Dear Doris,
I'm sure you're familiar with this: Making resolutions is one thing, then realizing them is another 😅. The list is mainly there to make sure I don't forget anything - whether it gets done this year or next is not so critical. Fortunately, the time of annual performance reviews is over😉.
Have a nice weekend and best regards
Angelika
Dear Angie - I'm amazed 😮. How are you going to do all that? You're a real power woman. And remember: you want to live to see your retirement 😉.
Greetings from Jesteburg
